Student Volunteers Learn All About the Work of Healthwatch Croydon

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting two exceptional work experience students, Daiver and Kishan, from The Elms Academy. Their time with us was not only beneficial for their professional growth but also a rewarding experience for our team here at Healthwatch Croydon.

A Week of Engagement and Learning

Daiver and Kishan quickly became valued members of our team. Throughout their time with us, they fully engaged with the diverse and impactful work we do at Healthwatch Croydon. From attending meetings to contributing to projects, their enthusiasm and dedication were evident in every task they undertook. The pair attended our board meeting and had the opportunity to ask questions to the Health and Wellbeing Board on young people's mental health as well as giving analysis a go and speaking to Croydon Residents.

The contributions of Daiver and Kishan have left a lasting impression. Their fresh perspectives and willingness to learn brought new energy to our office. We were particularly impressed with their ability to adapt to various roles and responsibilities. We want to thank Daiver and Kishan for their hard work and commitment during their work experience. It was a pleasure to have them on board, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth and success. Daiver said "I loved spending the week as a volunteer in Healthwatch Croydon. This is because it was full of engaging activities, it exposed me to more people, and allowed me to develop my skills."
