  4. Cecily Mosedale's experience as a 16-17 year old volunteering at Healthwatch

    Hi! I’m Cecily I have been volunteering at Healthwatch since November 2022 as part of my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. I want to go into medicine and I have found this the ideal place to volunteer to support that goal.

  5. Croydon vulnerable migrants’ experiences of health and care services

    This report was funded by the Care Quality Commission(CQC) and supports their wider work in engaging with seldom listened to groups.

    We worked closely with the Rainbow Health Centre to interview and survey 58 vulnerable migrants from 24 countries, living in Croydon. They share their experiences of using health and social care services with us. Our thanks to all who participated in the survey and interviews and to Rainbow Health Centre staff and the Best Western Queens Hotel Crystal Palace management for enabling access to participants.

    An NHS spokesperson said: “The NHS is aware of a global IT outage and an issue with EMIS, an appointment and patient record system, which is causing disruption in the majority of GP practices.
